Role Purpose:
The Senior Manager Global HRIS Portfolio & Governance is responsible for ensuring the right initiatives are selected, prioritized, governed and delivered, ensuring the correct maintenance & development the capabilities of the existing Employee Master Data system.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
- Maintain the Global HR Technology Portfolio and measuring the business value delivered.
- Develop & maintain the annual HR Systems Roadmap, balancing Corporate & Global initiatives with the business-driven demand.
- Monitor the team capacity and identify capacity constraints.
- Ensure dependencies between initiatives are understood.
- Own the demand intake process, ensuring any demand is aligned with the group & Express HR strategy.
- Assess new requests & coordinate impact assessments.
- Ensure appropriate governance & decision making for HR Technology initiatives by coordinating governance forums, tracking governance decisions, monitoring risks and issues and ensuring compliance with the governance processes.
- Identify and initiate HCM Core HR Projects incl. business case/ budget approvals, project initiation incl. project sign-off and PID.
- Set-up and operate an effective regular project controlling process focusing on key priorities to achieve project success; flexibly and creatively determine corrective actions/ find alternative solutions where necessary to meet defined targets.
- Manage and align the status of projects across all management levels and steering bodies and ensure appropriate escalation where and when needed to keep projects on track or to align revised project plans. Where needed establish the required steering bodies.
- Design and implement effective and focused stock taking activities for business case/ priority identification on HCM Core HR topics/ projects.
- Consulting and guiding countries and regions on the proper set-up, design, usage of the Express Oracle Fusion HCM platform in the areas of employee master data and compensation and benefits and ensuring compliance with globally defined standards.
- Consulting the global Employee Master and C&B Data expert community on Employee Master Data and C&B related HR Systems topics and how to best use the platform for operative HR processes.
- Being a platform evangelist.
- Evaluating, designing and documenting the Oracle Fusion HCM configuration or changes to it in the areas of Employee Master Data and C&B.
- Obtaining alignment regarding Employee Master Data and C&B related configuration/ data/ set-up topics with various stakeholders at regional or country level
- Act as a final support level for platform issues.
- Ensuring and partly prepare the change management and communication required for regular platform updates/ upgrades as well as for platform configuration changes across all impacted user groups.
- Understand the data in the platform and guide global, regional and country HR on how to use this data for utilisation/ data quality monitoring and KPI analysis; this includes the identification of action needs from the data and their communication and alignment.
- Operate and further develop an effective regular platform controlling process incl. data quality monitoring.
- Identification and definition of actions to improve and further enhance platform use and operation.
- Where and when needed be able to prepare reports and data analysis to support decision making.
- Understand and consider the general/ key business requirements and statutory/ regulatory rules in Express regions/ countries and ensure that system design/ implementation support these (e.g. data protection) Understand and guide data migration and integration design.
Do you have what it takes?
- University degree in a business discipline or comparable experience.
- At least 3 years experience in a service industry.
- Minimum 7 years experience in HR Systems projects.
- Minimum 7 years project management experience.
- At least 7 years experience in data structuring and data analysis.
- At least 7 years’ experience in HR process design.
- Proven experience in data HR migration/ transformation.
- Fluency in English; Knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Proven Employee Master Data platform know-how, preferred on Oracle technology stack.
- In depth and profound HR System understanding incl. configuration and customization.
- Very good IT Experience/ user/ MS Office skills incl. SharePoint.
- Good understanding of Internet technology, networks and devices.
- Demonstrated learning ability in the areas of analysis, systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- International experience required (e.g. through projects).
- Strong affinity to numbers and understanding/ working with them.
- Flexible mind-set and appreciation of constant change.
- General in-depth HR Systems and HR Systems Integration knowledge.
- Highly analytical and very quick thinker.
- Experience with change management and governance processes.
