WHAT THE ROLE OWNS

Design craft

  1. The look and feel ofeverything that goes out. You are the quality bar.
  2. Brand consistency across every asset, channel and market.
  3. Design systems, templates and components that hold up as volume increases.

Go-to-market output

  1. Landing pages. Bespoke, beautiful, built for a specific brand or a specific pitch.
  2. Presentations. Pitch decks, proposals and campaign narratives for enterprise opportunities.
  3. Sales and marketing collateral. One-pagers, case studies, outbound assets, microsites, social.

AI production capability

  1. The AI stack. Mastering the tools and workflows we already run, then pushing them further.
  2. Speed ofoutput. Using AI to compress what used to take a week into a day.
  3. Reusable systems. Turning one-offassets into workflows the wider team can run.

The design is the reason it works. The AI is the reason there is so much of it.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, end to end

  • Own concept through to shipped asset. Direction, copy, design, build, iterate.
  • Hold a high bar. Enterprise-grade, brand-safe, considered. AI-made should never mean AI-looking, and you are the person who makes sure it never does.
  • Develop and defend the visual language across web, deck, social and print.

Web and landing pages

  • Design and build campaign, brand and pitch pages with AI at every step.
  • Get a v1 up fast, put it in front ofthe CEO and sales, iterate live rather than polishing in private.

Presentations and collateral

  • Build decks and proposals for named enterprise opportunities at short notice, going from direction to draft in hours rather than days.
  • Turn a rough direction from the CEO or a sales lead into a finished, on-brand asset.

Use AI to close the gaps rather than waiting for a perfect brief.

  • Keep the collateral library current so everything we send looks like it came from one company.

Across marketing

  • Work wherever the marketing need is. Campaigns, social, web, brand, product marketing, events, outbound.
  • Write as well as design. AI gets you most ofthe way, your judgement gets it the rest.
  • Sit close to sales so you can see which assets convert and which do not, and adjust accordingly.

AI-first production

  • Use AI across every step. Ideation, copy, design, build, iteration, QA.
  • Find the manual steps in how we produce work and replace them.
  • Bring newAI tools, models and techniques to the CEO before we hear about them elsewhere. Part ofthe value ofthis role is that you are living at the AI frontier.

Working with the CEO

  • Short feedback loops, direct access, no committee.
  • Be highly responsive. Messages get answered, work moves, momentum is the point.

WHO YOU ARE

A designer first

  • You have real design depth. Typography, layout, hierarchy, colour, grid, motion. You know the rules well enough to break them on purpose.
  • Your portfolio is strong and you can talk through the thinking behind it, not just the output.
  • Trained or self-taught, we do not care, but you have put in the years and it shows in the work.
  • Fluent in the traditional tooling. Figma, Adobe, whatever you use to get from idea to finished thing.
  • You have taste and you can defend it. You can explain why one approach beats another in terms a marketing lead will accept.

AI-native

  • You have restructured how you work around AI, not bolted it on. You can walk us through your workflows, your tools and your output.
  • You are comfortable letting AI do the parts that used to take days, and confident about which parts still need you.
  • You are curious by default. You try the new thing the week it lands.

How you operate

  • A maker. Hands-on, not a manager ofpeople who make things.
  • A fast, clear writer. Direction gets acknowledged, questions get asked early rather than late, progress is visible without anyone having to ask.
  • Organised and structured. Requirements arrive from across the business and they rarely arrive tidy. You triage them, sequence them against commercial priority, and keep a clear picture ofwhat is landing when. Nothing gets dropped and you do not need to be chased.
  • Relentless energy. You would rather ship five things this week than perfect one thing next month.
  • Speed wins and you know it. You treat turnaround time as a feature ofthe work, not a constraint on it.
  • Commercially aware. This work exists to win revenue and you judge it on that basis.

Useful, not essential

  • Understanding ofvideo production
  • Video editing
  • Social content and posting experience
  • SEO

We care far more about what you have shipped than where you studied.
