What You'll Do

As an AI Strategist (Pre-Sales), Southeast Asia, you will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers across the region, helping organizations identify, evaluate, and accelerate AI, analytics, and data modernization initiatives.

This strategic customer-facing role combines business consulting, industry expertise, and technology advisory capabilities. You will work closely with C-level executives, business leaders, and technology stakeholders to uncover high-value AI opportunities, facilitate innovation workshops, build compelling business cases, and shape transformational AI strategies.

Partnering with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Consulting Services, Customer Success teams, and ecosystem partners, you will help customers understand how Teradata's AI and Analytics platform can drive measurable business outcomes. Success in this role means influencing strategic opportunities, strengthening executive relationships, accelerating AI adoption, and helping customers realize value from their data and AI investments.

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of Teradata's Asia Pacific Go-To-Market organization and collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Engineering, Consulting, Customer Success, Product Management, Marketing, and strategic technology partners.

You will engage with customers across industries including Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail, Manufacturing, Transportation, Healthcare, Energy, and the Public Sector, helping them define and execute AI-led transformation strategies.

This role reports into the regional AI leadership organization and plays a critical role in supporting Teradata's AI growth strategy and customer success agenda across Southeast Asia.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, management consulting, enterprise architecture, AI advisory, or customer-facing strategy roles.
• Experience engaging senior business and technology leaders on digital transformation, AI, and data modernization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and Cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business challenges into technology strategies and business outcomes.
• Proven success supporting enterprise sales opportunities, executive engagements, and strategic customer initiatives.

• Deep understanding of AI value realization, adoption frameworks, and transformation methodologies.
• Experience facilitating executive workshops, discovery sessions, and strategic advisory engagements.
• Ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high-impact AI use cases aligned to business objectives.
• Strong executive communication, storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience developing business cases, value frameworks, ROI models, and transformation roadmaps.
• Familiarity with modern data architectures, cloud ecosystems, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Consulting mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, technical, consulting, and customer success organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Passion for AI innovation and helping organizations adopt AI responsibly and at scale.
