Senior Product Manager

Prequel (https://prequel.app/) is a tech company building cutting-edge Gen-AI photo and video products. Our platforms help millions of users create stunning, trend-setting visual content using the latest AI models.

As we continue to expand our product portfolio, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to take full ownership of the Core Product Experience for one of our fast-growing Gen-AI initiatives. The Gen-AI market moves incredibly fast, and we are constantly iterating to find, secure, and scale Product-Market Fit for new products. You won’t just be executing a pre-planned roadmap — you will have full autonomy to define hypotheses, drive retention, and shape the core experience.

Responsibilities

• Fast-Paced Discovery & PMF: The AI market changes weekly. You will live in a fast "hypothesis → test → iterate" cycle (measured in weeks, not quarters) to constantly refine our PMF and pivot when necessary.
• Own the Core Experience & Retention: Analyze funnels, cohorts, and LTV to spot drop-offs, uncover retention drivers, and maximize the value users get.
• Roadmap & Execution: Keep the quarterly roadmap updated as fresh data comes in. Write PRDs, decompose tasks, collaborate closely with design and dev, and maintain a clean backlog where every hypothesis has a clear success metric.
• AI Unit Economics & Margins: Manage feature profitability, monitor operational costs per user, and set usage limits to ensure sustainable unit economics.
• A/B Testing: Design and launch A/B tests. You will define metrics, guardrails, and make confident rollout/rollback decisions based on data.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2+ years in B2C mobile apps with a subscription model.
• 0-to-1 / PMF mindset: Experience launching new products/features from scratch, running fast hypotheses, MVPs, and RATs (Riskiest Assumption Tests).
• Applied understanding of Gen-AI: You don't need to train ML models, but you must understand the trade-offs between generation quality, latency, and API costs.
• Unit economics for subscription products.
• Solid understanding of A/B test design and statistics (you know what MDE and statistical significance are, and why you shouldn't peek at tests early).
• Autonomy & Speed: You are a self-starter who doesn't wait for top-down tasks. You are comfortable making decisions with incomplete data in a highly dynamic environment.
• Visual Taste: Our products are highly visual. You should have a personal interest in content trends, aesthetics, and social media.
• Required languages: English, Russian.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with recommendation systems or personalized feeds.
• Familiarity with vibe-coding or rapid AI-assisted prototyping.
• Prior experience working with AI safety guardrails and compliance for AI content.
