FloQast is seeking a Principal, People Business Partner (GTM) to play a pivotal role in our continued evolution as a market leader in accounting workflow automation. Serving as a strategic architect of organizational health and high performance, you will be a strategic partner to FloQast’s GTM leadership team across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

You will go beyond traditional HR support to act as a deeply embedded business advisor, translating FloQast’s ambitious growth objectives into scalable people strategies. Your mission is to ensure our GTM teams have the elite talent, visionary leadership, and high-performance culture necessary to drive hyper-growth and sustained market excellence.

*Visa sponsorship is NOT available at this time

This role has a requirement of working in office 3 days per week in NYC, which may be subject to change based on team and business needs, as determined by the department leader. Please note that this requirement is subject to ongoing review and may be adjusted in the future.

What You'll Do:
  • Strategic Leadership & Partnership: Act as a primary advisor to GTM Executives, providing strategic guidance on organizational design, succession planning, performance management, executive coaching, and workforce planning to support rapid scaling.

  • Organizational Design & Effectiveness: Proactively identify organizational gaps and lead large-scale initiatives to optimize GTM team structures, ensuring alignment between business goals and team execution.

  • Talent Strategy & Succession: Lead the GTM talent management lifecycle, including high-stakes succession planning, performance management, and the development of high-potential leaders.

  • Change Management & Culture: Champion and lead complex change management initiatives across the GTM organization. Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and inclusivity that reflects our core values.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage advanced people analytics to identify trends, provide deep insights into GTM organizational health, and drive proactive solutions for retention, engagement, and performance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with People Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, Recruiting, HRIS) to design and deliver high-impact programs tailored to the unique needs of a high-velocity GTM environment.

  • Global Scale & Expansion: Drive people strategies that support international GTM expansion, navigating cross-border team structures, cultural alignment, and localized performance models.

  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Oversee complex employee relations matters with a focus on risk mitigation and high-standard resolutions, ensuring a fair and equitable environment for all.

  • Any other tasks that may be assigned to help the company meet its goals

What You'll Bring:
  • Strategic PBP Experience: 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior People Business Partner role specifically supporting GTM, Sales, or Marketing organizations within a high-growth technology or SaaS company.

  • Executive Presence: Proven ability to build trust and influence at the C-suite and VP levels. You are a confident advisor who can navigate complex organizational dynamics with poise and professional maturity.

  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of GTM business models, sales cycles, and performance metrics (e.g., quotas, churn, CAC). You speak the language of the business.

  • Partnerships within the G&A Function: Track record of working closely with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams on day-to-day tasks and large-scale impactful projects.

  • Scale & Growth Mastery: Demonstrated experience leading People strategies during periods of rapid scale (e.g., doubling headcount, international expansion, or post-IPO).

  • Analytical Mindset: Expert-level ability to interpret data and use it to tell a compelling story that drives executive action.

  • AI Mastery: Adept at integrating AI-driven insights and automation to streamline organizational design and talent analytics, enabling more agile decision-making in fast-paced SaaS environments.

  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex people strategies in a clear, relatable way.

  • Educational Background: BA/BS degree required; Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in HR/Organizational Development) or high-level HR certification (SHRM-SCP/SPHR) preferred.
