Short Summary:
Discord is focused on enhancing the gaming experience for its community. The Ad Operations Manager will play a key role in scaling the Ads business, improving campaign execution efficiency, and providing insights to drive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure ad campaigns are implemented and launched on time and to specification.
- Provide hands-on technical support to key customers and Ad Sales partners.
- Partner with Account Managers and technical teams to optimize campaign outcomes.
- Synthesize campaign performance insights for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Build and scale automations and tooling to reduce manual effort.
- Serve as the operational engine for multiple revenue-driving functions.
Requirement:
- 3–5+ years of experience in digital advertising, ad operations, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for efficiency gains.
- Comfort working with data and light scripting (SQL required; Python preferred).
- Knowledge of ad technologies, campaign operation methodologies, and ad tracking solutions.
- Experience partnering with Engineering/Product on technical escalations.
- Strong analytical proficiency and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
