Short Summary:
Deepgram is expanding across APAC and is looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to lead technical evaluations, design solution paths, and drive adoption for strategic accounts. This role requires a blend of sales and engineering skills to help customers transition from problem to production efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discovery for strategic opportunities.
- Map business goals to measurable technical success criteria and an evaluation plan.
- Design, scope, and execute POCs that prove value.
- Build lightweight prototypes, sample integrations, and demos using Deepgram SDKs and APIs.
- Advise on architecture for accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost.
- Prepare responses for various data privacy regulations in APAC.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to resolve customer issues quickly.
- Create reusable assets that scale and support the field.
Requirement:
- 5 or more years in Solutions Engineering or a similar customer-facing technical role focused on pre-sales.
- Professional software engineering experience in at least one language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Rust.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure API design.
- Proven track record leading POCs for enterprise customers.
- Clear written and verbal communication across both technical and executive audiences.
