Short Summary:
You will engineer and operate Zoom's global corporate network across campus, cloud, and remote environments, automating repetitive work and improving observability to maintain network reliability at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Operating enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure including switching, routing, wireless, and SD-WAN across global sites.
- Administering firewall policies, Zero Trust remote access, and 802.1X network access control for secure connectivity.
- Supporting cloud network connectivity and partnering with Security and Cloud Engineering teams on cross-functional projects.
- Building automation scripts, playbooks, and Infrastructure-as-Code templates to reduce operational toil.
- Maintaining runbooks, network diagrams, and change procedures to ensure operational clarity and knowledge sharing.
Requirement:
- Have 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience spanning LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
- Demonstrate strong TCP/IP fundamentals and packet-level troubleshooting skills (Layer 2 through Layer 4).
- Operate firewalls (Palo Alto or equivalent) and Zero Trust platforms (Zscaler, Prisma Access, or equivalent).
- Configure and troubleshoot 802.1X / NAC in an enterprise environment.
- Manage Juniper (EX, QFX, SRX, MX) or equivalent routing and switching platforms.
- Monitor networks using SNMP, NetFlow, syslog, or equivalent observability tooling.
