Short Summary:
Wise is building the best way to move and manage money across borders. We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our Onboarding & KYC team in Hyderabad, focusing on creating low-friction onboarding and verification experiences while preventing financial crime.

Responsibilities:
- Own product strategy and roadmap for APAC onboarding, KYC, and financial crime mitigation initiatives.
- Build and scale digital identity verification and eKYC experiences across various APAC markets.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, Risk & Compliance to balance conversion, customer experience, operational cost, regulatory requirements, and financial crime risk.
- Lead complex localization work, integrating local identity providers and APAC-specific controls into Wise’s global platform.
- Improve customer onboarding outcomes and mitigate financial crime risks.
- Use data, customer insight, and operational feedback to prioritize initiatives.

Requirement:
- Significant product management experience, ideally in finance/fintech, identity, onboarding, KYC, risk, compliance, or fraud.
- 8+ years in the workforce with ideally 5+ years in product management or adjacent roles.
- Strong track record of shipping customer-facing products end-to-end.
- Excellent structured problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Enough technical depth to collaborate with engineers on systems and platform design.
- Strong customer focus and clear communication skills.
