Short Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced VP of Creative Strategy to help drive and evolve how Whalar wins new business. This role involves leading new business pitches, defining strategic narratives, and collaborating with various teams to create impactful marketing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Own and lead new business pitches from brief through delivery.
- Triage incoming opportunities and define the strategic approach.
- Set the strategic narrative for every pitch.
- Present and sell strategic recommendations to various audiences.
- Partner with the Head of Creative Strategy to develop new offerings.
- Continuously evolve strategy development within the New Business team.
- Design ideas built for participation and engagement.
- Identify opportunities where AI and emerging technologies unlock creativity.
- Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
Requirement:
- 12+ years of experience in creative, social, and content strategy.
- Proven track record of developing and winning high-value new business pitches.
- Direct experience creating creator marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of brand, product, and performance marketing.
- Exceptional presentation and executive communication skills.
- Ability to build strategic foundations behind winning creative ideas.
- Experience developing frameworks and repeatable approaches.
- Deep fluency in creator culture and digital ecosystems.
- Curiosity about AI and emerging technology.
- Experience within a creator marketing or influencer marketing business is desirable.
