Short Summary:
Full-Time Non-Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Health Economics to join an interdisciplinary faculty team, contributing to research, teaching, and service activities while developing externally funded research programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead research programs in health economics, health informatics, artificial intelligence, aging and dementia, rural health, and health policy.
- Design, conduct, and evaluate research studies to inform healthcare information and public health interventions.
- Perform economic evaluations, cost-benefit analyses, and health economic modeling for healthcare programs and policy decisions.
- Maintain an active research and publication agenda and seek external funding.
- Analyze, prepare, and disseminate research reports and scholarly products.
- Teach one to two courses annually in relevant subjects.
- Provide educational programs, lectures, and training activities.
Requirement:
- PhD in Economics, Health Economics, Health Informatics, Health Care Policy, Public Health, or a closely related field.
- Experience commensurate with the rank of Assistant Professor.
- Preferred expertise in health economics, health informatics, aging and dementia, rural health, and health policy.
