Job Title: Masterand/in (m/w/d) – Abschlussarbeit im Bereich LSR-Charakterisierung und Optimierung von Simulationsdaten Summary: In dieser Rolle wirst du im Rahmen der Masterarbeit für drei Themenbereiche Messmethoden entwickeln bzw. optimieren, um relevante Materialkennwerte von Silikonelastomeren für die Simulation zu bestimmen. Ziel ist es, hochwertige Eingangsdaten für Spritzgusssimulationen zu erzeugen und dadurch die Vorhersagegenauigkeit zu verbessern. Responsibilities Include: Schwerpunkte der Arbeit: Spezifische Wärmekapazität (cp): Messmethodenentwicklung mittels DSC, Charakterisierung verschiedener LSR-Typen mit unterschiedlichem Füllstoffgehalt sowie Analyse des Einflusses der Rezeptur auf cp. Dichte (flüssig vs. ausgehärtet): Methodenentwicklung zur Bestimmung der Dichte von LSR im unvernetzten Zustand sowie Vergleich mit der Dichte des vernetzten Materials und Untersuchung des Zusammenhangs mit Rezeptur und Netzwerkstruktur. Viskosität: Methodenentwicklung zur Bestimmung der Viskosität von Silikonelastomeren mittels RPA, Untersuchung des Einflusses veränderter Prüfparameter auf rheologische Ergebnisse sowie Vergleich mit bestehenden Messdaten zur Verbesserung der Datenbasis für Simulationen. Qualifications: The following are required for the role Du bist Masterstudent/in im Bereich Kunststofftechnik, Materialwissenschaften, Chemieingenieurwesen, Verfahrenstechnik, Maschinenbau oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung. Du interessierst dich für Polymere, Siliconelastomere und deren Einsatz in Spritzgusssimulationen. Du hast Freude an experimenteller Arbeit im Labor und an der Generierung valider Materialdaten. Du verfügst über analytisches Denkvermögen und wertest Messergebnisse strukturiert im Hinblick auf Simulationen aus. Idealerweise bringst du erste Kenntnisse in Rheologie, Thermoanalyse oder Werkstoffcharakterisierung mit. Du arbeitest selbstständig, strukturiert und sorgfältig. Kommunikation ist für dich selbstverständlich. Deine Deutsch- und/oder Englischkenntnisse sind in Wort und Schrift gut, sodass du dich sicher ausdrücken kannst.
