Short Summary:
The Designer III is an entry-level role focused on supporting modeling strategy, strengthening discipline execution, and owning coordination and documentation quality across projects within a defined discipline focus. You’ll apply TEECOM’s workflows, tools, and BIM standards with a high level of independence, serving as a key technical contributor who helps project teams deliver coordinated construction documents.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Project Execution and Apply Technical Judgment
- Contribute to Team Learning and Collaboration
- Improve the TEECOM System
- Maintain highly organized, accurate models and documentation
- Participate in performance assessments and demonstrate measurable growth
- Lead modeling and documentation efforts across moderate to complex scopes
- Support advanced coordination efforts by identifying risks early
- Document design decisions, assumptions, and updates in project tools
Requirement:
- BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent technical or field experience.
- 4+ years of experience in the AEC industry with strong proficiency in Revit, coordinated modeling, and construction documentation.
- Preferred: Experience delivering technology system designs and leading BIM coordination efforts.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage workloads across several projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
