Short Summary:
We're hiring a Product Manager to own the development of Tailscale-native applications, focusing on enhancing the developer experience and streamlining the integration of Tailscale connectivity and identity into software products.

Responsibilities:
- Own the roadmap for the native apps experience: TSNet, tailscale-rs, and the tailscale CLI
- Define what "Tailscale-native application" means, including reference architectures and embedding patterns
- Manage the developer experience from initial engagement to running embedded nodes
- Set the strategy for the Rust SDK family and treat the CLI as a standalone product
- Run the internal dogfood loop and partner with GTM and Customer Success on embedding deals
- Engage with developers through GitHub, Discord, and office hours

Requirement:
- 6+ years in product management or software engineering with experience in developer-facing products
- Experience shipping developer-facing features and understanding the implications of design choices
- Proficiency in Go and/or Rust for technical discussions on API and SDK design
- Strong opinions on developer experience, including API ergonomics and documentation
- Experience conducting customer research relevant to developer products
