Short Summary:
The Technical Perfumer ensures the continuity, compliance, and performance of fragrance formulas by developing technical solutions for raw material, formulation, and regulatory challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Develop replacements and alternatives for critical raw materials.
- Rework formulas due to regulatory changes, discontinued materials, and portfolio optimization.
- Drive raw material and formula harmonization projects.
- Support customers and internal stakeholders on renewability, natural and synthetic raw materials, and technical fragrance topics.
- Investigate and resolve quality, production, and complaint-related issues.
- Act as the first point of contact for raw material topics including REACh, regulatory requirements, Philyra, stock optimization, and shared raw materials.
- Manage technical projects and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Requirement:
- Certified Perfumer education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Perfumer or Technical Perfumer.
- Strong knowledge of fragrance raw materials, their physical, chemical, and olfactive properties.
- Experience with fragrance formulation and ingredient interactions across applications.
- Strong olfactive evaluation skills.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Good understanding of fragrance regulations, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage projects independently and work across functions.
- Understanding of business processes from Creation to Regulatory and Supply Chain.
- Good IT user skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
