Work Arrangement:
In-office expectations: Office-assigned Stripes in most locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in their local office.

Short Summary:
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses, aiming to increase the GDP of the internet. The Accounting Team focuses on maintaining a well-controlled environment that supports corporate governance and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Apply accounting and finance expertise to identify AI opportunities for complex accounting challenges.
- Build AI-powered tools to automate accounting workflows and enhance controllership.
- Design and deploy autonomous AI agents for complex problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ship and maintain interactive data products and analytics tools using SQL and Python.
- Collaborate with Accounting and partner teams to uncover efficiency opportunities.
- Partner with Accounting and SOX teams to develop effective internal controls for AI-based solutions.

Requirement:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 4+ years in accounting or adjacent roles.
- B.A. or B.S degree in Accounting, Finance, Finance Systems, or Information Systems.
- Fluency in U.S. GAAP.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and familiarity with modern data tools (Python, Databricks).
- Comprehensive understanding of AI fundamentals and experience with AI/LLM tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with internal controls (design, implementation, execution).
