Short Summary:
Join our team at the Office of Mental Health as a Nurse Supervisor for the 3rd shift, dedicated to providing compassionate care and helping individuals achieve long-term wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff providing care and administering medications.
- Make rounds, observe, demonstrate, and assess residents to ensure nursing care meets their needs.
- Document assessments and provide direct resident care, medications, and treatments as needed.
- Assist in planning and implementing nursing care programs.
- Evaluate and monitor environmental conditions and quality of life for residents.
- Provide instructions and guidance to nursing staff.
Requirement:
- Licensed RN in South Carolina with BSN or a three-year diploma/ADN plus 2+ years clinical nursing experience (psychiatric, geriatric, or med/surg).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform CPR/AED and emergency measures.
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
