Recruiter

Sher Staffing is looking for an experienced Construction & Manufacturing Talent Partner to help expand our network of skilled professionals and industry relationships. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced recruiter who already has an established network of construction, manufacturing, and industrial professionals, along with relationships with companies that regularly hire skilled talent. You'll serve as a strategic recruiting partner by helping identify qualified candidates, supporting business development, and connecting great people with great opportunities.

Description

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain a network of skilled trades and industrial professionals.
• Source qualified candidates using your existing network and recruiting tools.
• Recruit passive candidates before positions become available.
• Conduct candidate interviews and evaluations.
• Present qualified candidates with recommendations.
• Assist in developing recruiting strategies for difficult-to-fill positions.
• Maintain relationships with previous clients and hiring managers.
• Identify new business opportunities and warm introductions.
• Collaborate with Sher Staffing leadership to support company growth.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• Proven recruiting experience within construction, manufacturing, industrial, or skilled trades.
• An established network of candidates and hiring contacts.
• Experience filling contract and direct-hire positions.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Facebook, Gusto, and applicant tracking systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Compensation

• Independent Contractor (1099)
• Potential for Flexible hours
• Compensation may include hourly pay, placement incentives, or a combination of both, depending on experience and engagement.
