Short Summary:
At SAP Business AI, we are exploring the next frontier of AI on structured business data. As Staff/Principal AI Scientist, you will lead in defining and prototyping a composable, multi-modal architecture for foundation models across structured and unstructured data.

Responsibilities:
- Define research roadmap for mixture-of-architecture foundation models.
- Lead projects with a team of AI Scientists.
- Balance long-term research with hands-on coding and experimentation.
- Guide development of enablement materials for training models.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to inform value proposition and partnerships.

Requirement:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or relevant disciplines.
- Strong background in Foundation Models with a substantial publication record.
- Experience with foundation models for large structured data or multimodal foundation models is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
