Headway’s mission is to build a new mental healthcare system accessible to everyone by addressing the barriers to care, particularly in insurance. The company is looking for exceptional individuals to help change mental healthcare for the better.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and implementation of systems that power Headway's insurance operations.
- Build data-intensive, ML-powered platforms that serve patients and providers.
- Mentor engineers and write high-impact code at the intersection of healthcare data and payer operations.
- Develop solutions such as ML models for price estimates, OCR pipelines for insurance card reading, and claims AI agents for denied claims.
Requirement:
- A platform thinker who builds for teams and creates abstractions for efficiency.
- Ability to find structure in messy data and build reliable systems.
- Hands-on coding experience with a focus on outcomes.
- Strong communication skills for design documentation and team collaboration.
