Short Summary:
Provide legal advice on various matters including commercial, labor, tax, regulatory, intellectual property, and data privacy.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements with vendors and distributors.
- Identify legal risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Support business and functional teams with legal input on transactions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure company policies and practices comply with local laws.
- Represent the company's interests in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsels as needed.
- Oversee corporate governance and maintain legal documentation.
Requirement:
- Law Degree (specialization studies is a plus).
- 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Legal Counsel or Legal Manager in transnational companies.
- Solid expertise in data privacy matters, corporate housekeeping, employment law, contract drafting and negotiation, intellectual property, and contract management.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills in English (writing, speaking, and listening).
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- High sense of responsibility, ethical standards, and sound judgment.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written), proactiveness, and curiosity.
- Preferred: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and strong pharma business acumen.
