Short Summary:
As a key member of the Country Study Start-Up team at Roche/Genentech, you will drive and facilitate the efficient initiation of clinical trials, helping to deliver innovative treatments to patients in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the country strategy for study start-up, driving efficiency, innovation, and collaboration with external stakeholders.
- Oversee start-up operations to ensure timely site activation and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and lead opportunities for process automation, standardization, and innovation.
- Collaborate with local, regional, and global counterparts to harmonize systems and improve timelines.
- Lead the development and management of clinical trial submissions and amendments.
- Provide strategic oversight for budgeting and contract management.
- Participate in external industry collaborations to influence the start-up environment.
- Manage site payment processes, budget escalations, and financial reporting.
- Lead the development and management of post-trial access submissions.
- If applicable, provide coaching and leadership to a team.
Requirement:
- Degree (MD, PhD, MA/MS, BA/BS) in life sciences or a related field; postgraduate degree is highly desirable.
- At least 4 years of relevant clinical trial operations experience.
- Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, EU CTR, and local regulatory environments.
- Proficient understanding of Ukrainian clinical trial legislation and operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and native in Ukrainian.
- Resident of Ukraine, able to work in the Roche Ukraine office in Kyiv and willing to travel.
