Short Summary:
Pliant is a European fintech specializing in B2B payment solutions. The Platform team's role is to provide a cloud platform for engineering teams, focusing on Terraform infrastructure and AWS setup.

Responsibilities:
- Own the roadmap for Platform Core's Terraform infrastructure and AWS setup.
- Run Platform Core as an internal product, ensuring it genuinely helps other teams.
- Collaborate with Security Engineering for compliance and access controls.
- Steer the migration from ECS/Fargate to Kubernetes.
- Manage and grow the team through 1:1s, hiring, and performance development.

Requirement:
- 7–10 years in software or infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years managing engineers.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, multi-account AWS, and container/serverless compute.
- Proven track record of hiring and developing engineers.
- Experience with Datadog or equivalent observability tools.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
