Manager - Guest Care & Booking Team, South Africa Region (US-Based, Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Manager to lead and support our remote team based in South Africa.

This role will oversee the Guest Care & Booking function, ensuring the team operates efficiently, delivers excellent service, and continues to improve as the business grows. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and optimising remote teams, improving processes, scaling operations, and supporting business growth.

Experience in the property or real estate industry is highly preferred, particularly in a hands-on operational role.

This is a flexible role for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and can occasionally be on call to support the out-of-hours team when needed.

What You'll Do

• Manage and lead the South Africa-based remote Guest Care & Booking team.
• Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
• Develop and optimise workflows, processes, and systems to support a growing team and business.
• Help scale the team and operations as the business continues to grow.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members.
• Ensure guest inquiries, bookings, and operational matters are handled efficiently and to a high standard.
• Work closely with the wider business to identify operational challenges and implement solutions.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management as the team grows.
• Track key performance metrics and ensure the team is meeting operational and service targets.
• Be flexible and available to support the out-of-hours team when necessary.

• Requirements
• Proven experience managing and optimising remote teams.
• Experience scaling teams, improving operations, or supporting business growth.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of operational challenges.
• Experience in property, real estate, hospitality, or a similar industry is highly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Flexible working style and willingness to occasionally be on call outside regular working hours when the business requires support.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
