About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Recruiter to join Outsourced Staff, supporting the end-to-end recruitment of high-quality talent for our Australian clients.
This role plays a critical part in managing vacancies from sourcing through to placement — working closely with Australian clients to understand their requirements, identifying and qualifying candidates, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth recruitment process through to offer and onboarding.
You will be working within a structured, fast-paced remote recruitment environment, managing multiple concurrent vacancies while representing Outsourced Staff and its clients professionally at every stage of the process.
1. End-to-End Recruitment Management
Own the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple vacancies:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple vacancies, from job briefing and sourcing through to candidate placement.
- Maintain accurate candidate and vacancy records in the ATS and recruitment trackers.
- Monitor recruitment activity, pipeline progress and sourcing metrics.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
Build and manage strong client relationships:
- Work closely with Australian clients to understand their role requirements, priorities, expectations and candidate preferences.
- Gather and communicate client feedback and keep candidates updated throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide regular recruitment updates, pipeline reports and vacancy status reports to management and clients.
- Assist with preparing and reviewing pricing calculations and recruitment/client scorecards where required.
3. Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Building
Proactively build and maintain strong candidate pipelines:
- Conduct candidate sourcing through LinkedIn, job boards, ATS databases, recruitment platforms and outbound campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing and talent mapping.
- Use our core recruitment tech stack day-to-day, including Lever (ATS/CRM), LinkedIn, Noon, Brainner, Expandi, Instantly, Million Verifier, Juicebox and 3CX for candidate/client calls.
- Support recruitment campaigns and job advertising across relevant online platforms.
4. Screening & Candidate Assessment
Assess and qualify candidates against role requirements:
- Conduct initial phone/video screening and qualification interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Assess candidates against role requirements, including technical skills, industry experience, Australian market experience, systems knowledge, communication skills, availability, salary expectations and cultural/team fit.
- Prepare concise and professional candidate summaries, scorecards and recommendations for clients.
5. Interview Coordination & Offer Management
Coordinate the process through to a confirmed placement:
- Coordinate candidate interviews with clients and manage the recruitment process between candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage candidate negotiations around salary, notice periods, availability, working arrangements and other offer considerations.
- Coordinate references, background checks, documentation and pre-employment requirements.
6. Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Support the wider team and keep improving how we recruit:
- Work collaboratively with other recruiters and provide support with sourcing and candidate screening when required.
- Continuously review sourcing strategies and identify opportunities to improve candidate quality, response rates and time-to-fill.
- Help develop and improve screening questions, interview processes, recruitment scorecards and candidate assessment methods.
- Ensure candidates are presented professionally and that the recruitment experience reflects positively on Outsourced Staff and its clients.
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, preferably within an agency, outsourcing or high-volume recruitment environment.
- Strong candidate sourcing and headhunting capabilities.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn sourcing/outreach.
- Strong understanding of Boolean/search techniques and proactive candidate identification.
- Experience working with an ATS, recruitment CRM or candidate database (we use Lever as our ATS/CRM).
- Excellent phone and video interviewing skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; confident communicating with Australian clients and hiring managers.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Genuinely into AI tools and quick to pick up new ones — we rely heavily on AI-powered platforms for sourcing, outreach and candidate research, so this isn't optional for the role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to recruitment challenges.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Commercially aware and client-focused
- Confident, proactive communicator
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Quick learner, especially with new tools and AI-powered platforms
- Resilient and adaptable when priorities shift
- Personable, with genuine warmth when engaging candidates and clients
