Merchandising Operations Executive
Job Overview -
The Merchandise Operations Executive will support the seamless day-to-day running of our merchandising operations. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, this role is responsible for coordinating critical operational processes, maintaining accurate information, resolving queries, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. The successful candidate will combine strong attention to detail with confident stakeholder management, helping ensure that merchandise moves through the business accurately, efficiently, and on time.
What You’ll Be Doing -
• Liaising with suppliers and vendors to support timely deliveries and ensure compliance with agreed quality standards
• Building strong vendor relationships, resolving operational issues promptly, and supporting the negotiation of favourable terms
• Verifying supplier order confirmations for accuracy and working with Buying, Finance, and supplier teams to resolve queries within required deadlines
• Acting as a key point of contact between the Merchandising team and internal stakeholders
• Collaborating with Buying, Planning, Trade, Marketing, Operations, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure the smooth delivery of campaigns and business initiatives
• Coordinating the accurate and timely information required by the Finance team
• Maintaining and updating merchandising records, files, systems, and databases with a high level of accuracy
• Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Supporting the development and implementation of best practices across merchandising processes
• Taking ownership of assigned categories and driving operational performance to support their success
• Ensuring the team has the information, tools, and resources required to operate effectively
• Participating actively in team meetings and contributing ideas that improve team performance and business outcomes
• Supporting the development of junior team members through regular guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback
What We’re Looking For -
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Fashion, Merchandising, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• 3–4 years of relevant experience within the fashion industry
• E-commerce experience or exposure to Merchandising, Buying, and inbound warehouse functions is preferred
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• A genuine interest in merchandising and warehouse operations
• Confident verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels of seniority
• Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with suppliers and vendors
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership when required
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to challenge processes and recommend improvements
• Strong organisational and follow-up skills, with a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion
• A customer-centric approach to decision-making and problem-solving
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Previous experience supporting, mentoring, or managing junior team members
• Fluency in English
