Job Description: Duties: Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Design, develop and deploy automation solutions for ASIC Silicon validation across process, voltage and temperature. Responsible for automating and maintaining SLT handler to ensure its sooth execution with yielding expected test results. Integrate automation systems with existing validation test infrastructure and test content. Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure the reliability and performance of automated test flow execution. Collaborate with validation test engineers to collect and automate test flow to be executed across board farm and handler. Responsible for collecting and analyzing data from board farm and handler in order to monitor performance, identify trends, and troubleshoot issues. Travel 1 week per year (up to 5%) required depending on business needs within the US and potentially India. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field. Two (2) years of experience in job offered, Systems Test Engineer, Member of Technical Staff, or closely related occupation. Required skills: Position requires two (2) years of experience in: 1. System Validation, 2. Functional Testing, 3. Troubleshooting, 5. System on Chip (SoC) Validation or verification, and 5. Debugging. Salary: $145,000 per year.
