Short Summary:
NXP Semiconductor’s Analytical Lab in Austin, TX is seeking an analyst for their SIMS group, focusing on measuring ultra-trace levels of dopants, film compositions, and contaminants in semiconductor materials.

Responsibilities:
- SIMS analysis on semiconductor and silicon samples
- Cutting/Cleaving of wafers and devices, isolation of sites with optical microscope
- Deprocessing of wafers using HF and other chemical etchants
- Maintenance and repair of high-vacuum high-voltage equipment
- Interpretation of results using computer data analytics
- Interfacing with lab and process engineering teams
- Shift work required to support 24x7 manufacturing operations
- Excellent writing skills to create reports and emails describing results
- SPC analysis of data and reaction to OOC conditions

Requirement:
- Associate’s degree in a technical field or a BS in a STEM discipline preferred
