Short Summary:
The Model Consultant is responsible for driving model portfolio sales, accelerating asset growth, and strengthening strategic client relationships across California, Hawaii, and Las Vegas. This role partners with financial advisors and other stakeholders to position Invesco’s model portfolio solutions as a core component of advisor practice growth.
Responsibilities:
- Drive asset growth and market share of Invesco model portfolio solutions throughout California, Hawaii, and Las Vegas.
- Develop and execute strategic territory business plans to identify, prioritize, and capture new model portfolio opportunities.
- Prospect and cultivate relationships with financial advisors, RIAs, broker-dealers, aggregators, and platform partners.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with advisors, investment committees, and key decision makers.
- Conduct portfolio review meetings and strategic planning sessions with clients.
- Deliver compelling presentations on model portfolios and market insights.
- Represent Invesco at client events and industry forums.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM systems.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience within asset management, wealth management, or financial services.
- Demonstrated success in consultative sales and relationship management.
- Strong understanding of model portfolios and investment management.
- Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63/65 equivalent) required, or ability to obtain within prescribed timeframe.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout California, Hawaii, and the Las Vegas region.
