Short Summary:
As a Community Engagement Team Member, you'll support and coordinate community programs that foster trust-based, long-term relationships in the communities where we develop and operate clean energy infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze Community Dynamics and Siting
- Perform comprehensive desktop research and sentiment analysis to evaluate local perceptions toward development and clean energy projects.
- Utilize ArcGIS to conduct detailed siting analyses, identifying key local dynamics, community boundaries, and potential engagement opportunities.
- Drive Stakeholder and Landowner Communications
- Create, manage, and distribute official stakeholder and landowner notices tied to key project milestones across development and operational phases.
- Track engagement workflows, ensuring consistent, transparent, and accurate communication across all target regions.
- Support Team Operations and Financial Stewardship
- Provide critical administrative oversight for the Community Engagement team, managing check requests, vendor invoicing, and budget tracking.
- Maintain accurate records of community commitments, outreach history, and financial disbursements to support long-term accountability.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Environmental Policy, Urban Planning, Public Affairs, or a related discipline.
- 1+ years of experience supporting community engagement, public outreach, or local stakeholder management within clean energy or large-scale infrastructure.
- Proficiency with spatial analysis tools, specifically ArcGIS, alongside demonstrated skill in conducting community sentiment research and reporting.
- Proven track record of managing structured landowner/stakeholder notice processes across multi-phase project lifecycles.
- Exceptional organizational and administrative abilities, including budget tracking, invoicing, and cross-functional coordination.
