We’re working with an established international business looking for an HR Manager to take ownership of the UK HR function on a fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional who enjoys being a hands-on HR Business Partner , working closely with senior leaders and managers and having real influence across the business. What we're looking for You'll be an experienced HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist with:
- 5+ years' HR experience, ideally at HR Manager level.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification.
- Strong UK employment law and employee relations knowledge.
- A broad HR background covering recruitment, performance, training and employee engagement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The confidence to influence and advise managers at all levels.
- A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience within retail, FMCG, consumer or an international/matrix organisation would be advantageous.
- Ideally you will be immediately available
What you'll be doing
- Take ownership of the day-to-day UK HR function and provide trusted advice to managers and employees.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations and offboarding.
- Partner with managers on workforce planning, talent, succession and organisational development.
- Lead on employee relations matters, providing practical and commercially focused advice.
- Manage the annual performance review process and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee HR compliance, policies, employee records and Right to Work requirements.
- Support training and development programmes and identify key training needs.
- Work closely with the business on Health & Safety and employee wellbeing.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide insight and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with international HR colleagues on wider HR projects and initiatives.
