Short Summary:
Teach lessons in the Grand Targhee Ski & Snowboard School program and act as a Snowsports ambassador with guests around the resort. Instructors are responsible for providing safe, fun, and professional lessons to guests of all ages and ability levels, creating an exceptional learning experience while promoting a lifelong love of Snowsports.
Responsibilities:
- Teach skiing or snowboarding lessons in group or private settings to children, teens, and adults.
- Provide clear demonstrations and personalized feedback to help guests progress in their skills.
- Ensure a safe learning environment by following and enforcing all resort safety policies.
- Deliver excellent guest service, patience, and enthusiasm while fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Assist guests with equipment, lift loading/unloading, and navigating resort facilities.
- Represent the resort professionally on and off the slopes.
- Participate in staff training and ongoing professional development.
Requirement:
- One season instructing experience required.
- Intermediate ski/snowboard ability.
- PSIA-AASI certification preferred for higher pay.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication and guest-service skills.
