Short Summary:
Giga is building AI data centers and is looking for a Commercial Counsel to manage commercial contracts and legal infrastructure, ensuring deals are closed efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Help identify and manage legal risk in commercial transactions, proposing workable solutions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial contracts, including EPC agreements and power purchase agreements.
- Serve as a legal partner to business development, procurement, construction, and finance teams.
- Build and maintain Giga's contract templates and standard terms.
- Support financing and real estate transactions, including lease agreements and financing documents.
- Assist in managing outside counsel relationships on commercial matters.
- Support the development of legal processes and infrastructure as Giga scales.
- Stay current on legal developments relevant to energy infrastructure and AI data center development.

Requirement:
- JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 2-4 years of commercial transactional experience, ideally in construction, energy, real estate, or infrastructure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with a high degree of ownership in a fast-paced environment.
