Short Summary:
Forter is looking for a Senior Engineer II to join our Data Products team, responsible for the data platform layer that supports core operations and real-time data processing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate Flink-based streaming pipelines at production scale.
- Own data quality and observability infrastructure, including schema contracts and alerting systems.
- Build and evolve knowledge base tooling for agents and engineers.
- Drive data integrity work to ensure platform reliability.
Requirement:
- 7+ years of production backend or data infrastructure experience.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Deep experience with stream processing systems (Flink, Kafka, or equivalents).
- Strong instincts in distributed systems, focusing on correctness and reliability.
- Experience with data quality or observability infrastructure.
