Supply Chain Specialist / Material Planner (m/f/d)

Are you ready to shape the supply chain of Europe’s most advanced semiconductor manufacturing site?

*Starting from autumn 2026*, you will join us as a Supply Chain Specialist / Material Planner to ensure the seamless flow of direct and indirect materials for our brand-new Fab in Dresden.

In this crucial role, you bridge the gap between production demands, global suppliers, and corporate functions. If you want to leverage your analytical mindset to build stable, highly efficient procurement processes from the ground up, this Greenfield project is your next career step.

Job Responsibilities

1. Demand & Supply Planning: Consolidate demand requirements from internal Fab stakeholders and translate them into robust material supply plans.
2. Material Availability: Ensure the timely delivery of qualified direct and indirect materials and services to secure uninterrupted Fab operations.
3. Supplier Management: Monitor and drive supplier performance, actively communicating to guarantee on-time deliveries and optimal replenishment cycles.
4. Procurement Strategy: Execute tailored procurement strategies in close collaboration with diverse supplier groups and global business units.
5. System Administration: Maintain and optimize supply chain and ERP workflows (primarily SAP) for a highly efficient and stable procurement process.
6. Continuous Improvement: Support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing SCM processes and driving supply chain excellence.
7. International Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact between local Fab users, external suppliers, and corporate headquarters.

Job Qualifications

Required:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
2. Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in supply chain planning, material management, or logistics within an industrial environment.
3. Skills: Strong analytical capabilities combined with a structured, planning-oriented mindset and negotiation skills.
4. Systems: Hands-on experience working with ERP systems (ideally SAP).
5. Languages: Business-fluent English (C1) and German (C1) to communicate effectively in our international team and with local partners.
6. International Onboarding: Willingness to complete an intensive training of 3-6 months at TSMC Taiwan

Nice to have:

1. Industry Experience: Prior experience in the semiconductor, chemical, or high-tech manufacturing sector.
2. Language Skills: Additional knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
3. Agility: A proactive, open-minded attitude with high learning agility, ideal for thriving in a dynamic Greenfield environment.

Why Join ESMC?

1. Help build a completely new semiconductor manufacturing site in Europe.
2. Work in a highly international environment with colleagues across Europe, Taiwan and the US.
3. Shape processes instead of maintaining existing structures.
4. Participate in global projects and cross-functional collaboration.

Joining ESMC at this early stage will provide you with the unique opportunity to actively shape the future of the fab in Dresden, boost your career and put your true potential to the test. You will be working in a fast paced, international startup environment whilst at the same time having access to the experience, talent, and resources of the largest and most advanced semiconductor manufacturer in the world, TSMC. You have ample opportunities to learn about TSMC Operations, Digital Transformation, and various advanced Facilities related topics, both in Taiwan and other sites around the world.

It is the policy of ESMC to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, ethnic and national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
