Short Summary:
Entrust is seeking a highly technical and hands-on Sr. Platform Engineer to design and lead the implementation of private datacenter Infrastructure-as-a-Service capabilities. This role involves translating service architecture into automated infrastructure services, focusing on self-service networking and expanding into compute, storage, and load balancing.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Infrastructure Architect and leadership to implement the private cloud and IaaS strategy.
- Drive the shift from ticket-based infrastructure fulfillment to self-service and automated provisioning.
- Lead the design and implementation of self-service infrastructure capabilities.
- Build and maintain automation workflows, infrastructure templates, and service blueprints.
- Develop API-based integrations across infrastructure platforms and service management systems.
- Establish Git-based development practices for infrastructure automation.
- Document service architectures and operational procedures.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and automation frameworks.
- Proven experience implementing private cloud and self-service infrastructure capabilities.
- Strong troubleshooting and systems integration skills across infrastructure and automation.
