Short Summary:
Engine is seeking a Controller to enhance its accounting function, focusing on automation and AI to improve efficiency and scalability as the company grows.

Responsibilities:
- Own the operating system of Engine’s accounting function.
- Create a clearer, more accountable operating model across Accounting.
- Build a high-performing leadership team.
- Scale AI and automation across Accounting.
- Modernize the close process.
- Serve as a senior decision-maker across complex accounting issues.
- Drive cross-functional execution and prepare Accounting for future growth.

Requirement:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including Controller or equivalent in a high-growth environment.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to improve an established accounting function.
- Strong multi-entity close, consolidation, and reconciliation experience.
- Strong judgment and decisive pace.
