Short Summary:
Hiire is supporting EID, a leading high-tech company in the Defence sector, in recruiting a Sourcing Buyer to manage procurement processes and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing and procurement activities across multiple categories, managing supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and performance.
- Negotiate pricing agreements, delivery terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and framework contracts.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies focused on cost optimization, supply continuity, quality improvement, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments.
- Manage procurement processes within SAP while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Product Management, Project Management, and Finance teams.

Requirement:
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management roles.
- Proven track record in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and commercial negotiations.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and category management principles.
- Experience with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodologies and analyzing supplier cost structures.
- Solid knowledge of Incoterms and international trade practices.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP ERP, particularly MM and SD modules.
- Fluent English (mandatory).
