About doola
doola is a dynamic company committed to simplifying the complexities of business formation, payment setup, compliance, taxes, and more. We empower entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes to navigate the intricate landscape of financial and regulatory requirements with ease, allowing them to focus on what truly matters - building and growing their ventures.
doola's Partnerships motion runs on two channels: an Affiliate program and a White Labeled API channel. We are hiring a founding-caliber BDR to own outbound prospecting across both. This is not a lead-response role. You will build the target lists, define the outreach motion, and generate the qualified conversations that our Affiliate and B2B/API teams close.
The ideal candidate has either scaled an outbound motion from the ground up as an early BDR hire, or has run high-volume, multi-channel outbound prospecting for a partnerships/channel program (not just direct end-customer sales) and can point to real pipeline they built.
Key Responsibilities
- Own top-of-funnel outbound prospecting for two distinct partner motions: Affiliate partners for the PartnerStack-tracked program, and platform partners for the White Label & Formation API channel.
- Build and continuously refine ICP-specific prospect lists for each channel, in partnership with Partnerships leadership (creators and communities for Affiliate; platform operators, embedded finance and banking-as-a-service players for API).
- Run and iterate multi-channel outbound sequences (cold email, LinkedIn, cold call, personalized sends) using sales engagement tooling, with a bias toward testing subject lines, messaging angles, and channels against booked-meeting and reply-rate data.
- Use and help configure AI-augmented prospecting workflows (AI SDR tooling, intent data signals, enrichment) to scale outreach volume beyond what manual prospecting alone can produce.
- Book qualified discovery and demo calls for the Affiliate and API teams, and keep CRM pipeline data (HubSpot) clean and accurately staged.
- Report weekly on pipeline generated, conversion rates by channel and segment, and experiment results, and use that data to adjust targeting and messaging.
- Partner with Analytics on lead routing, attribution, and intent data targeting so outbound effort maps to the highest-propensity accounts.
- Represent doola's partnership value proposition clearly and credibly in first-touch conversations with prospective affiliates and API partners.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of outbound BDR/SDR experience with a track record of building pipeline from cold outbound (not inbound lead qualification).
- Hands-on experience with sales engagement and prospecting tools (e.g. Artisan, Apollo, Outreach, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot sequences).
- Strong written communication skills and comfort running a true multi-channel cadence (email, LinkedIn, phone).
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a CRM pipeline with clean data hygiene.
- Self-starter who can operate with minimal process in place and build the playbook as they go, rather than execute an existing one.
- Comfortable being measured on pipeline and meetings-booked metrics, partners activated and iterating quickly based on the numbers.
- Bonus Qualifications
Experience as a founding or first BDR hire at an early-stage startup, building the outbound motion from zero. - Experience prospecting for a partnerships, channel, or affiliate program specifically, rather than direct end-customer sales.
- Familiarity with fintech, banking-as-a-service, embedded finance, or B2B SaaS API/integration partnerships.
- Experience working with or configuring AI-augmented outbound tools (AI SDR platforms, enrichment/intent tools like Bombora, Clay-based workflows).
- Experience with PartnerStack or a comparable affiliate/partner management platform.
