Short Summary:
Join Discord's Product Policy team to develop and evolve Brand Safety and Anti-Malware policies for the ads business, ensuring user trust and compliance while working closely with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve Discord's Brand Safety, Suitability, and anti-malvertising policies.
- Partner with Legal to ensure global compliance and use AI/data analytics to spot emerging risks.
- Build knowledge of Discord's revenue strategy and translate policy requirements for Sales and Product teams.
- Guide Revenue product teams on risk and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering on detection infrastructure and enforcement scaling.
- Represent Discord's commercial policy approach with industry groups and partners.
- Develop user-facing communications explaining Discord’s commercial policies.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience in advertising policy, marketplace quality/operations, trust & safety, or brand safety roles.
- Deep understanding of programmatic and digital advertising ecosystems.
- Experience addressing large-scale malvertising schemes.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills for technical and business stakeholders.
