Short Summary:
We are looking for an experienced UAV Pilot-Technician (multirotor) to join the flight team responsible for testing our flagship R&D product — a GPS-denied alternative navigation system. The candidate must confidently operate drones, be technically literate, have a deep understanding of UAV core components, and hands-on experience with Ardupilot-based systems.
Responsibilities:
- Pilot multirotor UAVs & fixed-wings in field-testing scenarios
- Perform pre-flight checks and UAV setup
- Maintain airframes and supporting equipment
- Support flight planning and adherence to safety procedures
- Troubleshoot and repair UAV hardware issues
- Record and report flight data as needed
- Collaborate with engineers during testing and development of new platforms
Requirement:
- Must-have:
- Real flight time on multirotor UAVs
- Solid understanding of how core UAV components work
- Advanced-user level of Ardupilot
- Experience with mission-planning software (Mission Planner)
- Ability to safely operate a drone in field conditions
- Diagnostic and repair skills for UAVs and supporting equipment
- Nice to have:
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education
- Experience with fixed-wing UAVs
- Combat experience
- English at B1 level or higher
