Short Summary:

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer for SDN Architecture, you will design and build high-performance networking solutions optimized for AI and HPC workloads, collaborating closely with various teams to deliver a reliable, scalable networking fabric.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and refine the technical direction for Software-Defined Networking.
- Participate in architecture reviews and author design documents for major SDN components.
- Build and optimize Linux kernel modules and high-performance drivers.
- Help design and implement network architectures for GPU-to-GPU fabrics and specialized AI clusters.
- Implement and tune virtualization features and integrate advanced SmartNICs, DPUs, or IPUs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform deep performance tuning.
- Evaluate emerging SDN and NFV technologies and contribute to open-source projects.
- Mentor engineers and help build a culture of engineering excellence.
- Partner with software and operation teams to implement and manage architecture designs.
Requirement:
- 8+ years of experience in large-scale networking systems, ideally in cloud or hyperscale environments.
- Strong SDN and NFV experience with systems programming skills in C, C++, Go, or Rust.
- Knowledge of Linux kernel architecture and device driver development.
- Hands-on experience with high-speed packet processing technologies.
- Familiarity with SmartNICs and accelerators.
- Experience with network virtualization and data center fabrics.
- Solid knowledge of SR-IOV and vDPA.
- Strong written communication and collaborative mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
