Short Summary:

The Engineering Manager for the Data Team will lead a high-impact team of data engineers, ensuring scalable and reliable data infrastructure for AI operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach, and grow a team of data engineers.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, and Cloud Leadership to define the long-term vision and quarterly OKRs for the data platform.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure scalable, maintainable architectures.
- Drive engineering best practices, including CI/CD and data quality monitoring.
- Lead the hiring process to attract diverse engineering talent.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data stakeholders across the company.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams, with a total of 7+ years in data engineering or software engineering.
- Strong background in the modern data stack (Python, SQL, Airflow/Dagster, BigQuery/Snowflake, Kafka, Flink) and cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS).
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical challenges into business impact.
- Passion for mentorship and helping engineers level up in their careers.
