Short Summary:
Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence, focusing on AI infrastructure. The Production Engineering team is critical in maintaining the performance and reliability of AI-optimized cloud infrastructure, specifically in SDN.
Responsibilities:
- Build automation and self-healing tools for monitoring and maintaining SDN infrastructure.
- Drive reliability initiatives focused on routing convergence, traffic engineering, policy enforcement, and fault isolation.
- Collaborate with network engineers to implement and maintain high-performance virtualized networking services.
- Support user-facing networking services with a focus on availability, latency reduction, and performance tuning.
- Investigate and resolve networking-related incidents using telemetry and packet-level analysis.
- Contribute to the architecture of fault-tolerant, scalable SDN backends for AI-first cloud environments.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in PE, systems, or networking engineering.
- Experience automating network provisioning and configuration.
- Hands-on experience with SDN platforms and protocols.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or C.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and deployment tooling.
- Deep knowledge of Linux internals focused on networking.
- Familiarity with network protocols and virtualization technologies.
- Strong experience with containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
- Excellent incident response, troubleshooting, and documentation practices.
- Experience with managed networking services at scale.
- Excellent communication skills.
