Short Summary:
CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Proactive Security team within the Cloud Security Group, focusing on advanced detection techniques to help customers prevent threats in cloud environments.

Responsibilities:
- Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications across CrowdStrike products
- Leverage and build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks and automate cyber threat intelligence production
- Collaborate with multiple teams to define and build solutions
- Champion new technologies and improve team technical IQ
- Work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Mentor other developers on various technologies
- Continuously improve product architecture, user experience, and performance

Requirement:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or US Permanent Resident
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Understanding of scalability and distributed systems
- Team player with engineering best practices knowledge
- Experience with large-scale datasets and scalable data solutions
- Expertise in cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Programming skills in Golang, Python, or similar languages
- Familiarity with Kafka, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, and real-time streaming platforms
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making
