Short Summary:
Moreland University is seeking a Director of Partnerships to manage the full lifecycle of district and institutional partnerships, focusing on K-12 districts, state education agencies, and higher-ed systems. This role involves sourcing, closing, and growing partnerships while collaborating with various internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own new acquisition and expansion efforts across your assigned territory.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, pricing, and contract execution.
- Lead strategic account planning and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and sales forecasts.
- Represent Moreland at industry events and strengthen brand presence.
- Identify funding opportunities to help partner districts offset costs.
Requirement:
- 7–15 years in K-12 partnerships, business development, or strategic accounts.
- Proven track record of closing complex, six-figure-plus ACV deals.
- Experience building partnerships within top-500 U.S. school districts or higher-ed systems.
- Strong CRM discipline (HubSpot or Salesforce) and comfort owning your own forecast.
- Executive-level communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Bonus: formal sales methodology training (Challenger, MEDDIC, etc.).
