Short Summary:
The fundamental reason this position exists is to provide on-the-job training for those individuals interested in becoming a Police Officer who are between 18 and 21 years old. Police Cadets serve as non-sworn, full-time employees in one of the Montgomery Police Department’s divisions.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving training
- Supporting operations
- Observing procedures
Requirement:
- Must be 18–21 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass fingerprint/background check
- Drug test and polygraph
- Medically and physically fit for duties
