Short Summary:
An Environmental Specialist job is available with the City of Fort Worth Environmental Services Department. The role involves working with the Air Monitoring Team to support the implementation of environmental programs.
Responsibilities:
- Proper installation and collection of sample filters
- Conveyance of sample filters via established protocols
- Upkeep, maintenance, and repair of sampling monitors and gaseous analyzers
- Calibrations, Quality Assurance Audits, and data reporting
- Computer application support
- Administrative support to supervisory-level colleagues
- Participation in 24-hour, on-call emergency response services
- Other duties as assigned
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field OR two years of experience in state or federally-regulated environmental programs
- Valid Class “C” driver’s license
