Short Summary:
Checkr is seeking a Senior Manager of IT to modernize its internal IT function, leading the IT Operations team and driving the adoption of AI and automation to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve Checkr's internal IT tech stack end-to-end, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and more.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT Operations team, focusing on hiring and career development.
- Champion the use of AI and automation to streamline IT workflows.
- Partner with Information Security to ensure compliance and risk standards.
- Collaborate with Workplace and Events teams for seamless technical support.
- Define and report on IT operational health through SLAs and employee satisfaction data.
- Manage vendor relationships for cost-effective service.

Requirement:
- 7+ years of experience in a people manager role, ideally in IT or systems engineering.
- 4+ years administering enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Proven success in driving AI and automation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Experience building and scaling IT teams during organizational growth.
- A-player mindset with a strong bias for action.
