Senior Azure Data Engineer

With a highly integrated team of 400+ experts, for over 20 years C&F has been delivering superior engineering and premium operations to Fortune 500 companies, primarily in the Life Science industry. 🌍We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer, who will support our global customers mainly in the pharmaceutical and FMCG industry in building innovative big data products and services. 🚀 📝 You will be responsible for: Working to take data throughout its lifecycle - acquisition, exploration, data cleaning, integration, analysis, interpretation, and visualizationCreating the pipeline for data processing, data visualization, and analytics products, including automated services, and APIs; Ingest data sources into data management platformsStructure data into a scalable and easily understood architectureImplement/build methodologies as well as (understand how to) scale them together with the businessesAnalyzing, maintaining and optimizing performance of existing solutionsData Quality checks implementationDesigning, managing, and maintaining tools to automate operational processesWork in a multi-disciplined team where you will turn data discoveries and ideas into models and insights. You will find how to leverage the data and the models to create and improve products for our customers, in lean development cyclesAdvising clients and proposing improvements (direct contact with stakeholders). 👉 What you will need: 4+ years of experience in Azure and 6+ of industrial experience in the domain of large-scale data management, visualization and analyticsHands-on knowledge of the following data services and technologies in Azure (for example Databricks, Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Explorer)Good understanding of Azure as a platformExperience with analytics, databases, data systems and working directly with clientsGood knowledge of SQL and PythonAzure DevOps/GitHub at least intermediate levelAbility to work in small, highly technical groupsVery good knowledge of English with the ability to speak but also explain and simplify technical topics for the businessExperience working on projects for international clientsProactive approach and goal-oriented, problem-solving skills. 💡 Optional Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code principles (Terraform or Azure ARM or Bicep); Ability to effectively incorporate AI-assisted development practices while maintaining strong engineering judgment, code quality, security, and compliance standardsWillingness to show up at the Warsaw office as needed (customer visits / workshops / integrations / important project periods requiring f2f teamwork). ✨ What we offer: Learning & development opportunities – after your probation period, you’ll have access to a highly flexible and generous English language reimbursement program, along with an individual development budget to use as you see fit.
